The king who turned everything he touched to gold learned his lesson within a day. We took a gentler one. Gold belongs where the hand goes: on the button, the clasp, the zip pull. Everywhere else, cloth.
Every collection begins with a single decision, and for Fall Winter 2026 27 the decision was about touch. Not the fabric alone, though there is velour here you will want to keep touching, but the points where a hand meets a garment. The button you fasten in the morning. The clasp you undo at the door. The zip you pull up against the first cold evening of October. In MIDAS, each of those points is gold.
The name arrived before the clothes did. Midas, in the old story, asked for the golden touch and got it, and by dinner he was hungry and frightened. It is a story about wanting too much of a good thing. So we rationed it. Gold-tone buttons engraved with the house butterfly. Gold zips with a weighted pull. Metallic thread woven through jacquard so that the flowers catch light only when you move. The rest of the garment is left quiet, in velour, crepe, faux suede and faux leather, so the gold has something to shine against.

Two rooms, one wardrobe
We photographed MIDAS in two places that could not be more different, on purpose. The first is an apartment in Istanbul with a long cream sofa, a concrete wall and a kitchen nobody seems to cook in. This is where the jackets live. A bandsman jacket thrown over jeans on a Sunday. A crushed velvet bomber at the breakfast bar. A suede bomber that gets better every year you own it.
The second is a rooftop terrace with the whole city behind it and nothing but sky above. This is where the suits go. A red peplum suit against a blue afternoon is not subtle, and it was never meant to be.

The palette
Five colours carry the season. Black, because a wardrobe needs a floor to stand on. Cream and ecru, which do the work white does without the anxiety. Brown in every register from tan suede to bitter chocolate velour. Burgundy, the colour of a glass left on the table after everyone has gone home. And red, one true red, used sparingly and never apologised for.
On the velour sets a sixth colour arrives: saxe blue, a dusty, faded blue that photographs like memory. You will find it on the scattered-crystal hooded set and the beaded-shoulder set, both cut in a plush cotton-rich velour that holds its nap.
The cloth
Velour is the heart of the collection. Not the thin, shiny kind, but a blend with enough weight to fall properly and enough stretch to be lived in. It appears as tracksuit sets, as a hooded dress, and as a crystal-scattered set that is, frankly, evening wear that happens to have a hood.
Jacquard comes next. Florals woven, not printed, so the pattern is part of the cloth and cannot fade. The navy floral bomber, the paisley bomber in beige, blue and mint, the coral floral on a grey ground. Then faux leather, cut oversized and belted, in a double-breasted biker and a side-stripe bomber. And a brushed faux suede, soft as the real thing and far easier to live with, in two bombers that will outlast the trend that brought you to them.
How to wear it
The easiest way into MIDAS is one jacket. Pick the colour you are least sure about, because that is the one people will stop you for. Wear it with the jeans you already own and shoes that are slightly too good for the occasion. That is the entire method.
The second way is the set. A velour tracksuit worn together is a decision; worn apart it is two decisions, and both are correct. The jacket over a slip dress. The trousers with a cashmere knit. Nobody will know it was sold as a pair.
How to buy it
MIDAS is sold two ways and we treat both with the same care. Retail customers can shop the full collection online in single pieces, with complimentary shipping over 150 euro across Italy and the EU and free returns within thirty days. Start with Bombers, Jackets or Sets and Suits.
Wholesale partners buy in pre-assorted size packs at trade pricing, three pieces per colour covering the full run, with new collections opening twice a year. If you buy for a boutique, a department store or an online shop, apply for a stockist account and the full wholesale catalogue opens to you with trade prices shown. Sizes run 36 to 40 in the standard cut and 42 to 46 in the curve cut, and several pieces are offered in both.
The collection continues in four chapters below. Read them in any order.
